7th and 8th Graders Compete at Jefferson County Spelling Bee
On Thursday, October 3rd ten 7th and 8th graders participated in the Jefferson County Spelling Bee which was held at Fairbury High School. After all the spelling was over two Diller-Odell students finished in the top 10. Eighth-grader, Alex, placed 9th and seventh-grader, Joely, placed 4th. Because of her top four finish, Joely has earned the right to participate in the District contest that will be held at a later date. Congratulations to those two individuals for their placements. The students that participated were 7th grade- Jaedyn, Joely; 8th grade- Emma, Alex, Esequiel, Callan, Dave , Zachary, Braeden, and Tatum.
