I grew up in Giltner, Nebraska which is right off the interstate between Aurora and Grand Island. I have two younger siblings - Shelby works for the York School District and Dayne attends the University of Kearney. My mom is a business teacher at Giltner High School and an important part of why I wanted to be a teacher. My dad works for Pioneer Seed in Doniphan. After, high school I went to Central Community College in Columbus, Nebraska and earned an Associates of Arts Degree. I then attended Wayne State College and received a Bachelor’s of Science Degree with an endorsement in Elementary Education. Along with my position as the 6th Grade teacher, I am the head boys’ basketball coach and an assistant football coach. I plan on being successful inside and outside the classroom and ready to be a part of the Diller-Odell community.
