Halloween Art

This Halloween is full of treats from the Diller Odell Art students.  We started early with the Tim Burton-inspired Portraits in Seventh Grade Art.  We discussed the artistic style of Tim Burton and his work and using a sheet of stylized facial features the students and Mrs. Klaus went to work creating.  The Art Club is 8 members strong this year and wanted to participate in the Trunk or Treat in Odell.  We enjoyed seeing all the trick-or-treaters in their costumes and were able to paint a few faces even with the chilling temperatures that evening.  Afterward, we warmed up with supper and took a trip to Auburn's Twisted Halloween House and donated canned goods for our entry fees.  Thank you Art Club for sharing your talents and time with our community.  We should try the Diller community trunk or treat next year too.
