Diller-Odell Welcomes Heather Heble as New Third Grade Teacher

Launch the media gallery 1 playerMy name is Heather Heble, and I'm very excited to be a part of the Diller-Odell School district this coming year. I graduated from Peru State College with a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education Unified with Special Education. I had an interesting journey to becoming a teacher as I was originally planning to be a Physical Therapist. After becoming an aunt, and working in a daycare center, I found myself intrigued by the way that little minds learn and grow, so I shifted gears. I began my teaching career in Marysville, Kansas, teaching preschool in 2016. Later, I got a job in the Beatrice Public Schools system. I am also currently the owner of Back Roads Nutrition + Boutique in our home town of Odell.
Though I'm a native Maryville, Missouri, resident, I'm a proud wife of a Diller-Odell alumni. Zach and I just bought a property outside of town in the country where we are looking forward to raising our family and the critters that we collect along the way. Our three boys Hunter, Hagan, and Zeke attend Diller-Odell Elementary School currently. We are becoming very busy with Diller-Odell youth sports and try to be involved in the community when we can. We are very excited to be on the same schedule and same location for the first time ever! I've been looking forward to the opportunity to teach in our community, and I can't wait to help your children grow in this amazing program as well.
