Hi, my name is Robin Klaus. I am the new K-12 Art Teacher for Diller-Odell Schools starting this fall. If I look familiar, it may be because I grew up in Odell and lived in Odell with my husband Eric after graduating from the University of Nebraska at Kearney with a degree in Art Education. I taught K-12 Art at Dorchester for two years before my husband, and I started our family. While raising our three children, I substitute taught for area schools before starting two businesses: Lil' Wonder's Daycare so I could teach young children and Klaus Creations, which allowed both my husband Eric and I to continue working on our professional artistic skills and selling our art. While taking graduate classes for art through UNK, I was employed by St. Paul's Lutheran School in Beatrice and, currently, Christ Lincoln Schools. Teaching children of all ages and encouraging them to be their best is a lifelong goal of mine. I can't wait to teach the students at Diller-Odell this fall, but first, I hope all of you enjoy your summer break.
