JH A Quiz Bowl Team wins 4th at MUDECAS
On Monday, April 11th the JH A Quiz Bowl team competed at the 2022 MUDECAS Conference meet held at Sterling. Only one team from each school could enter the tournament. All of the teams were randomly drawn into a double elimination tournament. The Griffins had to face the Panthers from Palmyra in their opening match and came up short dropping the Griffins to the losers bracket. The Griffins were able to rally back and win 3 straight matches over Southern, Lewiston, and Pawnee City. The A-team then had to go up against Palmyra once again and fell to them again earning a 4th place finish. Freeman took 1st place, Palmyra 2nd, HTRS 3rd, and Diller-Odell 4th. The JH Quiz Bowl teams worked hard this year with placing in the top 4 in three out of the four competitions they participated in. Thank you to everyone who came and supported the students; they really appreciated that.
