2.2. Principals Report
Principal Hinrichs and Mezger reported on the Continuous School Improvement Process, ACT testing, Career Academies, and Assessments. They both thanked the Board for being proactive and having a Principal in each building beginning last school year, as student behavior issues continue to increase. Many times issues stem from what is going on in the home the night before the students come to school. The school district only had one Principal from 2007 until 2024.

Superintendent Meyerle noted the requests of some to make sure and not start school too early in August, while others want to make sure school does not get out too late in May. Next year school will begin on August 13 and the last day in May will be the 18th. This closely matches up with other area schools.

This will be Superintendent Meyerle's last contract. He will have spent his entire 37-year career in the Diller or Diller-Odell School Districts.
