21-22 Assessment Results and Accountability Reports

Spring 2021-2022 NSCAS Growth Results

The Nebraska Student-Centered Assessment System (NSCAS) results have recently been released. From the Nebraska Department of Education website:

NSCAS embodies Nebraska’s holistic view of students and helps them prepare for success in postsecondary education,

career, and civic life. It uses multiple measures throughout the year to provide educators and decision makers at all levels

with the insights they need to support student learning.

Data collected from the administration of the NSCAS, along with other measurements, is used on a regular basis by Diller-Odell staff to identify and support students with effective learning strategies and interventions.

Diller-Odell students performed at or above state averages in nearly every individual grade level category of the NSCAS.  To view the full report on the Nebraska Education Profile for Diller-Odell and all Nebraska school districts visit: https://nep.education.ne.gov//snapshot.html#34-0100-000

NDE also released new AQUeSTT Classifications.  This system of accountability, which combines multiple student and school indicators, is designed to provide guidance and areas of improvement for schools.  Schools fall into one of four categories:  Excellent, Great, Good and Needs Support to Improve.

Diller-Odell’s new classifications are:

Diller-Odell District:                 Great

Diller-Odell Elementary:         Excellent

Diller-Odell Middle School:     Good

Diller-Odell High School:        Great

Diller-Odell continues to focus on high-quality education for all students in our district.  These results, along with many other measures, will be utilized to create rich learning environments and carry out our mission:  Empowering the Griffin community to achieve life-long success in the world.
