Greetings from the Science Lab

The forensics class has been hard at work learning fingerprinting techniques and ways to uncover them. Students spent time working on comparing different types of fingerprints and classifying them based on characteristics. Students completed a lab where they had to search for different prints around the room and identify them based on a database they created.

In Biology, students are learning about different types and parts of cells. They will be wrapping up the unit with an incredible edible cell lab, where students will create cells out of different foods. The different types of foods will represent parts of cells that the students must label and explain their importance when it comes to the cell.

The exploratory science class is busy looking at how and why bath bombs work the way they do. Students are looking at the difference between store-bought and homemade bath bombs. This is a very fun and interactive unit.
