Superintendent Meyerle noted that there were only a few schools in the ESU 5 district not requiring masks, and that he began requiring them inside the buildings on October 12. He noted how masks can prevent a whole group of students in a school setting having to quarantine.
The NSAA will require masks to be worn at all inside postseason events, and will require them outside when distancing is not possible.

He also reported that School Boards Convention was upcoming in November should members want to attend.
He noted that the school has had numerous situations of students needing to quarantine due to family members testing positive for COVID-19. The school had its first COVID positive case in the buildings this week.
