Diller-Odell Youth Sports Equipment Sharing Program

If you are like us, you may cringe at having to buy two pairs of shoes at the beginning of each school year...one just for P.E. Or maybe your son or daughter only got one season out of that pair of cleats and you just can’t bear to give them away. Well then, the D-O Youth Sports Equipment Sharing Program may just be the solution.

How it works:

  • Donate gently used sports equipment

  • Prior to each sports season, the collection of donated items will be made available in a “Store” which will be opened on specific days and you can come, leave donations if you have them and pick up equipment that your kids can use.

  • There is no cost associated with this and everyone is welcome. It’s meant to be an exchange but even if you don’t have something to give, you can still pick up something you need. We only ask that you donate back items when you can.

Where to donate:

  • Diller-Odell High School or Elementary School

  • Give to Amanda McKinney or Heidi Logan

What to donate:

  • Shoes in good, usable condition (PE, volleyball, basketball)

  • Cleats (football, baseball, softball, track, soccer)

  • Knee pads/Shin guards

  • Gymnastic leotards

  • Reversible jerseys (YMCA and Diller-Odell)

  • D-O Baseball/softball jerseys

  • Baseball/softball pants in good condition (no holes, etc)

  • Sliding shorts

  • Ball gloves

  • Helmets

  • Bats

  • Softballs, baseballs, volleyballs, footballs, basketballs

  • Catchers’ gear

*Please make sure items are clean when you bring them in. We’re providing only storage and we’ll organize things so you can find them but we don’t have time to clean donated items. If you would be willing to volunteer your time for this project, that is welcome as well.
