High School Students Teach Digital Literacy to the Elementary

On Friday, November 16th, 9 students from Mr. Larsen's Digital Literacy class went over to the elementary and gave presentations to the 2nd- 6th graders about Online Safety and about Copyright usage.   The second graders learned about being safe online by use the Stop Light Code which is Green (Good Sites), Yellow (Caution), and Red (Stop Unsafe).  The 3rd-6th graders learned about how to give credit when using information from the internet.  After the presentations the students were able to play a Kahoot game about Digital Literacy. Digital Literacy is changing every day and all students and parents need to be aware of what is out there on the internet and how to use it safely.
