Yearbook Hard at Work
The 2023-2024 Diller-Odell Yearbook staff consists of three students. In August, they recruited a few other students to help sell advertisements by phone. In that time, a record 70 ads were sold! The staff has since been very busy making more calls, organizing the ads, and billing the businesses. Organization is the key!
On Monday, September 18, the two co-editors, Madison Sherwood and Ellie Weers, attended a Yearbook Workshop hosted by our publisher, Walsworth. They traveled to Mahoney State Park where they learned many new ideas and ways to use them in this year’s book. They then met with a graphic designer, who helped them create a cover for the 2024 Griffin yearbook.
Even though it has been a very busy start to the school year, it has been great fun! Each day, with all of the many activities, the work will continue until the book is finished. Students should look for their yearbooks to be delivered in August 2024!
