What classes do you currently teach?
Social Studies/History & Strength Training

Why did you decide to become a teacher?
I had good, positive role models who were teachers when I was growing-up. Also, I enjoy working with young people.

What activities do you sponsor?
Currently, Head Coach for High School Girls Basketball (13 years) & Jr. High Girls Basketball (11 years), and Assistant Coach for High School Football (2 years)
Formally, Head High School Track Coach (7 years), Assistant High School Boys Basketball Coach (5 years), Co-Head Coach of Jr. High Football (5 years) and Sponsor of the Class of 2006.

How long have you been teaching?
I started formally teaching in the fall of 1997.

How long have you been teaching at Diller-Odell?
I have been at Diller-Odell since the fall of 2000.

What are your interests/hobbies?
Being with my wife and boys at their various activities occupies much of my time. I also enjoy participating in many sporting activities (especially fishing) and collecting sports memorabilia. Plus, reading about or visiting historical events/places is something I like to do.

Family?
Wife Tricia (married in 1994), Son Peyton (age 18, Senior at Diller-Odell), son Paxton (age 14, Freshman at Diller-Odell)

What is your favorite thing about teaching?
Interacting with students and being a positive role-model. Being able to share life’s experiences with students is rewarding.
