Students Compete at Jefferson County Spelling Bee

Students from five Jefferson County schools competed at the county Spelling Bee at Tri-County Schools on February 6th. Two Diller-Odell students placed in the top 10 in the 7th and 8th grade division. Seventh grader Kellen Gegg placed 7th and eighth grader Korey Theye placed 9th. Other students attending were seventh graders: Allison Engelman, Rachel Stanosheck and Madeline Swanson and eighth graders: Bradley Blake, Turner Faxon, Addison Heidemann, Viola Martinez and Brianna Weers. The alternate was Adrien Ficke.
Students who competed in the 5th and 6th grade division were sixth graders: Karli Heidemann, Abby Vater, Kate Kostal, Elecea Saathoff and fifth graders: Emma Rupprecht, Dylan Dendinger, Ellie Weers, Callen McKinney, Preston Engelman and Braeden Humphreys.
