STAR of the Class

Students get to be the STAR of the class for a whole week in third grade. This involves various things such as taking our class “stuffy” named “Patches” home to spend the weekend with them. Then students write in a journal about their time with Patches. The following week they share their journal entries, their favorite book, pictures of family and favorite things, and then they bring a secret item that the class gets to guess. Our student Ella Schnuelle enjoyed sharing her favorite book here “Down By The Bay.”
