Throughout the second quarter, Mrs. Oberembt’s social studies classes have been putting their creativity to good use. Students have been creating projects using Canva video. Students in both the 7th grade American History class, as well as senior Government, have done research and put their information together in the form of a short video presentation. The 7th graders researched some of the acts and events that essentially led to the Revolutionary War, and the seniors made videos pertaining to an amendment of their choice. The videos were impressive and brought out these students’ creative sides. It was great to see their presentations in a form other than PowerPoint. Hopefully, students will continue to use this program and find more creative ways to portray information.
