Student Art Work on Exhibit at Eisentrager Howard Gallery

Congratulations to Hollie for having her torn paper pice titled "Island Dreams" accepted into the High School Art Show at Eisentrager Howard Gallery in Richards Hall at the University Of Nebraska in Lincoln.  Each year hundreds of pieces of art are submitted from schools state wide to UNL for their Young Artist Awards.  Select pieces are then chosen to be displayed in the gallery and students, their families, and art instructors are honored with a reception. Hollie crafted her piece using small torn pieces of construction paper which she glued to canvas.  She layered her colors, added contrast with black, and the finished results are striking.  Hollie is a Junior at Diller-Odell and is interested in Special Education.
