Art Club Activities
Art Club members traveled to Lincoln Nebraska to view alumni artist Ashley Spitsnogle's art work on display in the Governor's Mansion during the month of September. They also toured the Governor's Mansion and learned about the architecture of the building, its history, construction, and famous doll collection. Adult sponsors were Mr. Perry Geydesen, Karen and Rick Wallinger, Ashley's mother: Carmen Spitsnogle, and Mrs. Klecan.
On October 8th Art Club members celebrated Halloween with Pumpkin Carving, and painting glass jars as luminaries. Party Sub Sandwiches with chips, relishes, and cake were served for the meal. Fifteen students attended from 9 through 12th grades. Students received prizes from a drawing and had fun creating their own Halloween project! Mrs. Spistnogle and Mrs. Klecan were sponsors.
