My name is Jerica Riesen, and I am so excited to be part of Diller-Odell Elementary School!  I am originally from a small town and believe in the opportunities small schools offer.  In 2019, I graduated from Doane University with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Early Childhood.  Wanting to learn more, I returned to Doane University and received my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction in 2021.  This will be my eighth year of teaching, having previously taught first and second grade

 My husband Kyle and I got married last summer and enjoy spending time together on the family farm. In my free time, I love chasing after our nieces and nephews, going for walks, and watching the sunset. I am very excited to be joining Diller- Odell Elementary School and can’t wait to get the school year started!
