The Diller-Odell Preschool class is busy learning new things.  One new topic we learned is all about our friend called “Mat Man.”  Mat Man is a floor person who goes along with our handwriting curriculum.  Mat Man is designed to help teach children about their bodies, body placement, and function.  Mat Man helps the children learn skills like counting, sequencing, identifying shapes, object placement, taking turns, and working together as a group.  We enjoy building and talking about Mat Man while singing our song.
