Real World-Real Money
On March 2, 2023, Ms. Smith took 7 students to SCC-Beatrice. We were invited to attend the Real World, Real Money along with other districts in the area. This interactive financial management program is designed to help students become better prepared to make financial decisions as young adults. The students did the following activities:
-Experience a real-life simulation where they can express their views on financial resources and learn the impact of the views on future decisions
-Explore careers and resources that are available
-Be able to make wise credit choices
-Gain a better understanding of family finances
-Realize the limits of financial resources both within the family and as a young adult
-Have fun learning together
Students that participated in this event were: Avery Logan, Alexus Gesin, Jesse Gilman-McCown, Makenna Shelly, Jeramy Colgorve-Habluetzel, Jayden Thomsen, and Kylie Barth.
