Jefferson County Spelling Bee
The Jefferson County Spelling Bee was held on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at the Jefferson County Fairground. The 5th and 6th graders competed in the morning going 13 rounds spelling 10 words per round before all the places were finalized. In the end, Diller-Odell had one student who placed, Zach earned a 2nd place finish. In the afternoon it was the 7th and 8th graders' turn to spell. Their competition lasted 9 rounds and again Diller-Odell had a top speller. Jayna earned 4th place in their division. Congratulations to all of the 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th graders who competed this year.
