2.1. Student Report

2.2. Principal Report
Principal Mezger was at MUDECAS volleyball and provided a written report to the Board.
3. Personnel Items
Superintendent Meyerle noted how pleased he and Mr. Mezger were with all the new hires for 2022-2023.
A special thanks to Jennifer Wendland for organizing the Grandparents lunch at the elementary. It was enjoyed by a number of people.

4.1. Technology Update
Principal Mezger provided the Board a written report on technology history/inventory.
4.2. Facility Update
Superintendent Meyerle reported that new student lockers would be installed at the elementary on September 22-23 when there is no school.
5. Superintendent Items
5.1. Superintendent Report
Superintendent Meyerle reported of his plans to attend the Joint meeting at the County level on September 26 since the tax request proposal is more than 2.53%. The Diller-Odell School Board would meet on September 27 to approve the 2022-2023 budget and tax request.
The proposed General Fund levy will be 0.660783 and the Special Building levy is proposed to be 0.126351.
Superintendent Meyerle noted with the addition of two paras the past year, upgrading busing, increased ESU costs, staff moving on the salary schedule and inflation, that it is necessary to tax for more dollars to keep operations the same.

President Kostal adjourned the meeting at 7:45 pm. There will be a Special meeting on September 27 at 5:30pm at the high school to approve the 2022-2023 budget and tax request. The next regular meeting is October 10, 2022 at 7:30pm at the high school.
