Contingency Plans

The district’s number one priority is the safety and well-being of all the students and staff at Diller-Odell Public Schools.  During the 2022-2023 school year, there might be a short-term or long-term closure because of a COVID-19 or flu outbreak in our area.  If this were to occur, we would implement an updated version of our Continuity of Learning Plan during any long-term closure.

Essential Actions

Encourage students and staff to stay away from school when sick.

Teach students who chose to wear face coverings to wear appropriately. Stress the importance of covering a cough properly.

Stress the importance of keeping hands away from the eyes, nose and mouth.

Stress hand washing, using hand sanitizer, disinfecting and good hygiene.
