Improving Learning for Children with Disabilities (ILCD)

Improving Learning for Children with Disabilities (ILCD) is a way the Nebraska Department of Education checks on and directs public schools in the education of special needs students.  The  Diller-Odell ILCD committee is committed to providing our students with many opportunities and if needed, accommodations for learning.  Our ILCD committee meets monthly.  We have reviewed the four Impact areas identified by the Nebraska Department of Education.   We have looked at Diller-Odell data from MAP, DIBELS, NeSA and other assessments.  Our committee has surveyed staff and parents and provided inservice training as a result of survey results. We encourage all staff to continue learning about children to increase Diller-Odell’s ability to provide appropriate education.
