    Have you heard your child say to you lately, “That’s a Heart Word!”?  If you have an elementary school student in your household, there is a good chance you may have heard that term. K-3 students usually have a set of sight words (words we can decode quickly, without effort)  or maybe high-frequency words (most commonly found words in print)  that they are to learn to read.
