Inspiration and Remembrance
The 5th-12th grade students and staff were treated to a very inspirational and moving message by retired Army Officer Mark Schoenrock of rural Jefferson County. Mr. Schoenrock served his country on active duty for over 28 years before retiring outside of Diller. Mr. Schoenrock talked to the students about following a path and how the people they meet can change their lives. He also talked about 9-11 and how he was in the Pentagon during the attack that terrible day. Diller-Odell Schools would like to thank Mr. Schoenrock for his inspirational message as well as his service to our country.
