Third Graders Cheering on Our Basketball Lady Griffins to State!
To send our Lady Griffins off to the state basketball tournament our third-grade class created good luck cards for each of the players. Each student picked a player from the team, cut out paper jerseys, wrote to their player wishing them good luck and how they look up to them, and colored them a picture. The students really enjoy getting to be a part of such a special experience for our girls’ team, the school, and the community. After the pep rally, Ms. Noyd gave each of the girls their good luck cards and their smiles are telling; they enjoy it as much as the third graders do! Being able to connect the third graders with these great role models is so fun. Hopefully, when the Class of 2031 gets to high school, they will be cutting down some basketball nets like our Lady Griffins did this season leading them to the state tournament!
