Music in the Air
In January, some of our band members participated in the Pioneer Honor Band being hosted in Lewiston. This event features 5 schools and is a day of collaborative playing between them, with a concert wrapping up the day. The participating members were Aidan McKinney, Kelsey Barnts, Kailyn Dendinger, and Madisyn Rosebaugh.
Additionally, Joely Weers was selected to be the first chair Alto Saxophone player for the Hastings College Honor Band. This was a two-day event full of rehearsal, staff/student concerts, and a bit of campus experience. Students from all over Nebraska and neighboring states were in attendance.
