First Grade Visits Hospital
The First Grade class visited the Beatrice Community Hospital & Health Center on Tuesday, April 4. The Beatrice Community Hospital & Health Center and the Beatrice Noon Kiwanis Club offer the Hospital Orientation Program for first graders. They are hoping that this educational experience will dispel children’s fear of a hospital, whether it concerns their stay or that of a relative or friend. As part of the orientation, each student received a personalized certificate and an educational coloring and activities book about what happens when you get admitted to the hospital.
