The Diller-Odell Junior Varsity Girls Basketball team competed in the Griffin JV Basketball Tournament held at our D-O High School on December 16^th.  In the first round of the tournament, Diller-Odell Girls JV knocked off Tri County earning a spot in the championship game.  In the championship game, our D-O JV girls played Fairbury and lost a hard-fought battle.  Fairbury got off to a quick start and won the 1^st quarter.  Our girls outplayed them the rest of the game but just wasn’t quite enough to get the win.  We got 2^nd place in the Griffin JV Tournament.  I’m very proud of our D-O JV girls for the way that they always work hard on the court to be in a position to win.  They are a great group of kids to coach and work with daily.  I’m very fortunate to get to work with them and look forward to the rest of this season.
