FFA District CDEs Results

Diller-Odell FFA had 35 members compete at District Career Development Events (CDEs) at SCC in Beatrice Tuesday March 5th. 

The Ag Mechanics team place 3rd and qualified for state. Members included Kaleb-Senior, Wyatt-Senior, Esdon-Freshman, and Dalton-Freshman.

Two teams of Livestock Management competed. Members who competed were: Kelsay-Senior, Nick-Senior, William-Senior, Ashtyn-Junior, Dayin-Sophomore, Brianna-Sophomore, Esdon-Freshman, Allison-Freshman, and Mallory-Freshman. Members qualified (tied for 3rd Place) and one team will be advancing to State Competition in April. 

Two teams of Floriculture attended, with a team placing 4th and advancing to State Convention. Members who competed in Floriculture were: Ryan-Senior, Morgan-Senior, Hannah-Senior, Kirsten-Senior, Ashley-Senior, Neleigh-Junior, Samantha-Junior and Adrien-Freshman. 

Two teams of Nursery and Landscape competed with one team placing 2nd and qualifying for state. Members who competed were: Kirsten-Senior, Morgan-Senior, Ashley-Senior, Hannah-Senior, Samantha-Junior, Neleigh-Junior, and Adrien-Freshman. 

Two teams of Vet Science attended Districts. Members were: Kelsay-Senior, William-Senior, Ashtyn-Junior, Skylar-Sophomore, Maddy-Freshman, Allison-Freshman, Kennedy-Freshman, Madeline-Freshman. 

Agronomy Members were: Christopher-Senior, Tucker-Junior, Austin- Sophomore, Jadyn-Sophomore, and Dalton-Freshman.

Farm Business Management members were: Ryan-Senior, Bryston-Senior, Christopher-Senior, Jesse-Senior, Tucker-Junior, Austin-Sophomore, and Jadyn-Sophomore. Members placed individually: Jesse-tied for 1st Place and Bryston-placed 6th.

Agriscience is a freshman only contest. Members who competed were as following: Madeline, Mallory, Cooper L., Cooper E., Zeke, Maddy, Kennedy, and Mykah. 

At State Convention Diller-Odell will be represented in these Contests (one team per event): Ag Mechanics, Livestock Management, Farm Business Management, Agronomy, Agriscience, Nursery and Landscaping, and  Floriculture.
