Griffin Pride-A Message from Mr. McMurray, AD

Since the fall season has come to a close, and we are already into the winter season, there are many positives to be proud of.   Not only did we see much success in athletics and activities, but we also heard many positive comments about our students.

I received an e-mail from the athletic director at Osmond, the football team we played in the playoffs.  He wanted to make sure we were aware of how courteous our football players were at a meal that they served us after the game.  He mentioned many positive comments from their parents who served the meal.

We also received word from HTRS, the host of Pioneer Conference Play Production.  They wanted us to know how well-behaved and impressive our students were, especially in the homeroom, which was supervised by some of their teachers.

Finally, I received the results of the State Volleyball Sportsmanship Award.  We finished very high in Class D-1, and there were no negative comments about our team, students, or crowd.

As Athletic Director I am always proud of our wins and successes, but comments like this from other schools just reinforce how impressive our young people are.
