Diller-Odell Athletics Have Challenging Week

Last week Diller-Odell sports teams were faced with some challenges.  Softball started off the week on Tuesday playing Cozad and Centennial.  Unfortunately, they lost both games but still played hard, going into extra innings against Cozad.  The volleyball team also played that night, facing their rival Johnson-Brock. While they started off all right, in the end, they fell to the Eagles.  However, they picked it up in their triangular on Thursday, beating both Dorchester and Meridian in two sets. The football team also faced Johnson-Brock on Friday.  They played in Johnson but sadly lost 72-14. The week ended with the softball girls playing in a tournament in Yutan. While they played hard against opponents Ashlen-Greenwood, Cozad, and Platteview, they, unfortunately, lost all of their games.  Even though the week may have been trying for the Diller-Odell athletics, the teams are still looking forward to finding success in the weeks to come.
