Artist in Residence, Mr. Thad Beach, spent the week teaching Diller-Odell Elementary students about the Pony Express and how to write songs.  All of the classes worked jointly in creating an original song titled Fast and Free.  This song depicts life as a Pony Express rider and delivering the mail from St. Joe to San Francisco.  Everyone at Diller-Odell would like to thank Thad for all of his work this week.
