New Playground Equipment
During the summer, some old and hazardous playground equipment was removed from the elementary playground for safety reasons. The elementary Principal’s Advisory Council decided to raise funds to replace the equipment that was removed. With the gracious help from both the Diller Community Foundation and the School Board, monetary funds were raised for the project.
Once the funds were acquired, members of the elementary Principal’s Advisory Council picked out their top three choices of new playground equipment and they decided to have all students in K-6 vote online for their top choice. The following items received 85% of the votes from the K-6 student body. The following items are going to be ordered this week and the new playground equipment will hopefully be assembled before school is out.
