2.1.  Student Report

Korey Theye gave a report on recent and upcoming student activities.

2.2.  ​​​​​​​Principal Report

Mr. Mezger provided a written report. Information was provided to the Board on Honor Roll, School Improvement, Standards, and enrollment information.

A draft schedule of an 8-period day was provided to the Board.

 

3.  Personnel Item

Superintendent Meyerle reported on staff planning for 2018-19.

 

4.  Support Service

4.1. â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹Technology Update

Mr. Mezger provided a written report on Digital Citizenship and iPad/laptop repairs.

4.2. â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹Facility Update

Superintendent Meyerle noted some small projects that would be taken care of over the holiday break.  The biggest of them is to replace the false ceiling leading up to the stage at the HS.

Superintendent Meyerle reported on the recent area in-service, certified staff negotiations, and 7- 12 student drug testing.

5.2. â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹Distribute Annual Financial Report

The AFR was not yet available

5.3.  â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹Discuss Safety Audit

Superintendent Meyerle discussed the annual safety audit conducted by Bruce Lang.

Superintendent Meyerle provided the Board with information that will be available for the public at the November 21st Special Meeting. The November 21st meeting is a Special meeting to consider, discuss, receive comment on, and take any action necessary regarding building a new gym.

Three Board members will attend the upcoming NASB conference.

There will be a Special Board meeting November 21, 2017 at 7:00pm in the HS gym.

The next regular meeting is December 11, 2017 at the media center at the elementary school at 7:30pm.
