Booster Club Carnival
The Diller-Odell Elementary Carnival was held on January 21, 2012 with approximately 140 kids in attendance. The children enjoyed games, throwing pies-in-faces, a cake walk and the ever popular jailhouse. A new item added to the line-up this year was a Bounce House. The Art Club's Faith Maginnis, Hope Maginnis and Kendra Barnts painted little ones faces. Mandi Barnts dressed up in her clown outfit and shaped balloons. Mrs. Lindblad and the seniors worked the games along with the help of several Junior High kids. Cindy Stohs and the juniors ran the concession stand serving hotdogs, cotton candy and sno-cones. Mr. Meyerle, Coach McMurray, Coach Schluter, Coach Landenberger and Lance Lawton braved several pies-in-the-face. Jason and Darnelle McCown were in charge of the Pie-in-the-Face. Several Booster Club members were on hand to work the gate, raffle tables, keep game prizes stocked and many miscellaneous duties. Thanks to all who put in countless hours preparing for the carnival, setting up, cleaning up, etc. Your time and efforts are very much appreciated by the carnival committee of Brooke Engelman, Kristin Heidemann, Julie Klecan, Amy Schroeder, Laurie Vitosh and Dawn Ebeling.
