Ms. Jacki Smith
I grew up in DeWitt, Nebraska and attended Tri-County Schools. From there I attended University of Nebraska-Kearney for three years. I then graduated from University of Nebraska-Lincoln with my 7-12 Special Education degree.
I started my career at Fairbury Public Schools in the CHANCE Alternative classroom setting. After six years, I then took over as the district's Transition Coordinator as well as Special Education classroom teacher. In 2015, I accepted the 7-12 Special Education position at Diller Odell.
I have two children Tybor and Tori. Tybor graduated from SCC-Milford and works full time for Action Plumbing in Lincoln. Tori graduated from Wymore Southern and has started her second year at Peru State College. She is studying Psychology and hopes to attend grad school and become a school psychologist. We enjoy spending time with our family and friends, going to the lake, and other outdoor activities.
I am blessed to be a part of the Diller Odell school system!!
