1. Open Meeting

1.1. Roll Call
The absence of Kolin Kotas was excused.

2. Instruction and Related Items

2.1. Student Report
Preston Engelman reported on recent student activities.  Such activities included State Speech where we had nine qualifiers.  Jason Arnold, Allison Engelman and Kate Kostal all received a medal at the state meet, and the team finished in fourth place.   Congratulations to the speech team and coaches.

Congratulations as well to Allsion Engelman on her State Farmer Degree at the recent State FFA convention.

Other recent activities have included the beginning of Golf season, Prom and the annual 8th grade dance.

2.2. Principal Report
Principal Mezger noted that we need to add a Personal Finance/Careers course to graduation requirements.  The careers piece of the course will see students out in local businesses to visit or job shadow.  This would affect the class of 2024.  The Board will look at adding the requirement at the June meeting.  He also gave an update on the annual NDE Multicultural requirement and the textbook schedule.

Superintendent Meyerle reported that the gym roof repair was complete and gave an updated list of summer projects

5. Superintendent Items

5.1. Superintendent Report
Superintendent Meyerle gave an update on the 2022-2023 class schedule and noted he wanted all 7-12 grade students registered for classes prior to dismissal for the summer.  He also gave an update on the plan to coop JH football with Southern Public Schools, and how the agreement will benefit both school.  The JH football coop is not a prelude to a HS football coop, as both Southern and Diller-Odell want to continue to play 8 man football.
