JH Quiz Bowl Compete @ ESU5 Meet
The JH Quiz Bowl season has started and in the first meet, Diller-Odell came away with some hardware. On Wednesday, February 23rd the JH Quiz Bowl team traveled to Thayer Central for the ESU5 meet. Each of the schools in the ESU5 region sent at least one team. Both the A and B teams had two practice games and then went into the double-elimination tournament. The A team won their first four matches of the tournament and then fell by one question in the semifinals and then lost their next game to the eventual champions Freeman. The A team earned 3rd place medals for their work. The B team also worked hard losing their last game by one question 35-30 in a 9 question sudden death round. Both teams did extremely well and look forward to their next competition on Monday, February 28th at the Thayer Central Invite.
