1. Open Meeting

1.1. Roll Call
Angie Clifford's absence was excused.  Kolin Kotas was going to be slightly late to the meeting.

1.2. Recognize the Open Meetings Act information

1.3. Approve minutes of last meeting

Motion to approve minutes of last meeting Passed with a motion by Toni Landenberger and a second by Adam Engelman.

2. Instruction and Related Items

2.1. Student Report
Allison Engelman gave a report on recent student activities.

2.2. Principal Report
Principal Mezger reported on MAP Assessments, the State Education Conference and the recent State Principal Conference.

2.3. Discuss possible JH football coop with Southern
The Board discussed a possible coop in JH football with Southern Public Schools.  Due to low participation numbers, it would be beneficial to both schools.  Both schools plan on having no more than about ten players on their own.  It will be a much better football experience to have a team of 20-22 players.  The Board plans to approve the venture in the future once the details are worked out.

5.1. Superintendent Report
Superintendent Meyerle reported on dates for Incumbent and Non-Incumbent candidates to file for School Board.  Ward 1 will be elected in 2022.  Superintendent Meyerle also provided a copy of the 2020-2021 Annual Report that will be released in the next week.

Passed with a motion by Dusty Duis and a second by Kolin Kotas.

7.1. Review of Superintendent contract
The Board reviewed Superintendent Meyerle's contract.  It will be extended until June 30, 2024.

The Board discussed the recent State School Board Conference.

President Kostal adjourned the meeting at 8:05 pm.  The next regular meeting will be Wednesday, January 12 at 7pm at the High School in Odell.
