2. Instruction and Related Items

2.1. Student Report
Preston Engelman provided a report to the Board on recent student activities.

2.2. Principal Report
Principal Mezger reported to the Board on an upcoming school safety summit, MAP data, NSCAS data, and PTC.

2.3. Review School Calendar for 2022-2023
The Board reviewed an early edition of the 2022-2023 school calendar.

3. Personnel Items
Superintendent Meyerle noted that Kaylie Snyder was leaving her Para position at the HS for another employment opportunity.  Shannon Novotny has been hired to replace her.  The Board and administration wish Mrs. Snyder the best.  Josie Vitosh has been hired as an additional Para at the elementary school due to increased student needs.

Superintendent Meyerle discussed some options on the old gym roof in Odell.  The roof currently is not leaking, but has issues with standing water and proper drainage.  It is an issue that will not improve without some modifications.

Superintendent Meyerle reported on negotiations with the DOEA, the upcoming NASB conference and the Superintendent evaluation in November.
