Principal Mezger reported on work on the 2021-2022 class schedule, and an upcoming busy week with awards, 8th grade promotion and graduation.

Superintendent Meyerle reported on some plumbing issues that were addressed at both the elementary and the high school.

5.1. Superintendent Report
Superintendent Meyerle reviewed the decision to end the mask mandate at school.  He noted that for the fall the school would continue to utilize hand sanitizing stations and follow guidance from health officials, but planned to return operations at school as they were pre COVID.

Superintendent Meyerle provided the Board with information on upcoming teacher negotiations in the fall.  He also noted that he was on a Zoom meeting with state officials on the recent census.  The recent census most likely will cause a slight change in the boundaries of our district wards.  The Nebraska Association of School Boards will assist all school districts using wards in the altering of the ward boundaries.
