Griffins Continue to Get Stronger!

There are four periods throughout the 8-period school-day where high school students can train their bodies to get bigger, stronger & faster.  Two of these classes are supervised by Coach Schulter, and one each by Coach Mohr & Coach Arnold. 

 

The students have downloaded an app on their smart-phones called TeamBuildr.  This very simple process guides the athletes through their workout routine on how many reps to do and how much weight to lift (many high schools have gone to this new-type of technology).  The steps of this process are fairly calculated to insure that Griffin athletes are getting the most out of their roughly 35-40 minutes in the Fitness Center.  The coaches try to have students do these workouts at least four times per week if attendance allows. 

 

Hopefully Griffin athletes continue to improve and we all start seeing bigger, stronger & faster athletes on the fields & courts.  Like any workout, how much ‘effort’ students put into their workouts plays a big role in the improvement that is made!
