Seventh Grade Social Studies Novel Study
In 7th grade social studies, the students have been reading The Diary of Abigail Jane Stewart which is set in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania in 1777. The diary gives the 7th graders an idea of what life was like during the time period of the Revolutionary War.
The students seem to really enjoy the book and even ask to read it. It has become a Friday afternoon activity that leads to much discussion.
