Graduation Set for June 6th

We are excited that we have been able to re-schedule graduation for the class of 2020 on June 6, at 2:00pm.  We will be limited on attendance of 25% capacity with the DHM that is in place.

As families arrive, please arrive together, use appropriate social distancing to enter, take your seat and do not mingle with other families.

Each of the graduates will be allowed 8 seats for their guests (we do not need a list of names from the families).  The bleachers will not be used, and all guests will have a reserved chair on the gym floor.  We will have a maximum of 200 people in attendance at the ceremony.  There will only be 24 chairs saved for guests that are not in the reserved seating party of the graduates.  Those seats are saved for Board members and staff.  We have 14 spots reserved for those that need to conduct the ceremony, junior attendants, class sponsor, speaker, photographers, custodians, and office assistants.

There is no standing room for guests.

The band will not be present.  Music will be pre-recorded.

Diplomas and scholarships will be picked up from the table on the stage and not handed to the graduates.

If taking a photo of your child receiving their diploma, if you move to the middle aisle to take the picture, please return to your seat immediately after the picture is taken.

We will ask guests to exit the ceremony by row to eliminate a large line, and they will only be able to congratulate graduates from a distance.  There will not be a receiving line where hands are shaken etc.

We will not allow for group photos to be taken on the school grounds.

We would ask that all families follow the DHM with their personal celebrations.

We feel fortunate we can now allow for our graduation ceremony, and we are happy that we can send off the Class of 2020 in a traditional way.   Congratulations to the Class of 2020!!
