Griffins Place 2nd at MUDECAS Speech
The Speech Team brought home the Runner-Up plaque at the MUDECAS Speech Meet held Feb. 1st. This is the 3rd year in a row that the Griffins have placed 2nd.
Individual Medalists at the meet were:
Melina-1st in Extemp, 5th in Serious
Madeline-3rd in Extemp, 4th in Informative
Allison-3rd in Humorous
Kate-3rd in Informative
Samantha-4th in Entertainment, 5th in Humorous
Ashtyn-5th in Persuasive
Michelle-5th in Impromptu
Group Medalists were:
OID-2nd Place
Team members: Melina, Connor, Michelle, Jadyn, Korey
Duet-5th Place
Team members: Connor and Jadyn
The Golden Rooster Team Award was given to the OID team of Melina, Connor, Michelle, Jadyn and Korey.
The Griffins will travel to Meridian Feb. 15th.
