Gary Stohs was excused from the meeting.

2.1. Student Report

 

No student report was available. However, the Board wanted to congratulate recent accomplishments in Livestock judging, participants in the National FFA Convention, the football team on qualifying for the playoffs, and congratulations to the volleyball team on winning the class D-1 State Championship vs. Archbishop Bergan.​​​​​​​

 

2.2. Principal Report

 

Principal Mezger was not in attendance, but provided a written report to the Board.

 

3.  Personnel Items

 

Superintendent Meyerle noted that interviews were scheduled for this month for the openings in K-12 Media and 7-12 Math.

Superintendent Meyerle noted that the work on the new gym and addition was complete with the exception of landscaping on the west side of the gym. That work will be done in April and will include grass, river rock and prairie grasses.

Superintendent Meyerle distributed the Annual Financial report. He also discussed the annual Safety Audit that was conducted by Bruce Lang.

Superintendent Meyerle gave his committee recommendations for 2020. The Board discussed the upcoming NASB Conference and teacher negotiations.
